I’m Sasha Cavalli,
from the age of 5 I start to be fascinating from photography and how the lights can change completely the aspect of what you watching.
After five year of photographic high school and three of Arts/3D animation in university I start in January 2008, my career as sound and light technician in a Italian theater company.
For seven years I follow the theater company Stilema in tour around Italy, France, Switzerland and Croatia, adapting my self to different equipment and size of the venue. The continuous change of theater helped me to increase my ability to adapt or create new light design in base of necessity.
Out of show time I was in charge of periodical maintenance of the technical material for increase the quality and the safe run of the show.
In 2015 I begun live in New Zealand searching new type of show/events aloud me to broaden my horizon and do different experience with international teams.
Working and leaving in New Zealand push me to search a new challenge and from late November 2015 I work for Royal Caribbean International on board of different ships with a team of forty different nation. Changing ship every six month, working with different equipment, shows and venue (theater, ice rink and water theater) give me the possibility of experiment new type of fixture, technology lice like drones and improve my light design skills.
I keep following different type of training: console training like ETC and GrandMe for expand my capacity of quickly adapt my self to different brand and new technology, school of Magic for increase my knowledge of light design and special effects for magician numbers.
